Kenya has dropped six places to position 88 from position 82 in the latest FIFA ranking that was released on September, 14

The drop can be attributed to the poor performance that was displayed by national team in the last FIFA international week where Kenya played three friendly matches.

Kenya drew 1-1 with Mozambique and Mauritania but lost 2-0 to Morocco. The rankings were not any better for Mozambique who dropped 4 places to position 108 and Mauritania who also dropped 12 places to position 98.

Kenya still remains second to Uganda in the Eastern African region who went up two places to position 71. Egypt is the first in Africa but 30th globally. Neighbours Uganda occupy 14th place while Kenya sits at 21st position in Africa.

Germany occupies the first position displacing Brazil who went down to second position. Portugal, Argentina and Belgium are third, fourth and fifth respectively.
