Embu County League action
Off you go! Fixtures for ECL round three.

The 2019 season of the Embu County League enters its third round this Sunday. All 12 teams will be in action in different grounds across the county. Football in Embu will be back rolling as the rest of the world resumes from the international break.

Double header

Kaa Ngumu will be looking for a first County League win when they host Runyenjes at Moi Stadium, Embu. The early kick off (1 pm) match will start off the round and set pace for another match at the same ground. Inter Dunga will play the other match of the double header when they go up against Shaolin at 3 pm.

Elsewhere, Manchester will try to maintain their lead as they welcome Kamiu’s Yatte FC to Kairuri. At the same time, 3K will try to snatch top spot from them as they welcome Juventus to Kagumori in another 3 kick off.

Kisimani will be returnig home looking to turn things around after falling 3-1 to Juventus last week. The Kaathari based side will host Green Everton at The Mbuko Arena where they played to a 1-1 draw on opening day.

ECL Match Day 3 fixtures

  • Kangami vs Gaturi
  • Manchester vs Yatte
  • FC Inter Dunga Dunga vs Shaolin Soccer
  • Kisimani vs Green Everton
  • Kaa Ngumu Sacco vs Runyenjes
  • 3K vs Juventus

Moi Stadium will be a venue of specific interest as the culture of time keeping continues to trouble Embu football. In past seasons, there have been late kickoffs for doubleheaders mostly caused by the lateness of the first match. The time culture is an area that needs improvement if teams in Embu hope to play in the higher divisions.
